How can I be added to the waitlist when you are full?
When the practice is full clients can be added the waitlist by scheduling a free 15-minute consultation. This will allow you the opportunity to meet the provider and determine if this is a good fit for you. It will also save your place in line while you seek out providers who have immediate openings. You can book your free consultation appointment through the Client Portal. Please note, all appointments must be approved first. You will receive an email notification once you initiated the appointment request and receive a confirmation email once the appointment has been approved.
If you are in a crises and need immediate attention please call the Crises and Suicide Lifeline at 988 or call 911 or go your nearest emergency center.
When will you accept new clients from the waitlist?
Those added to the waitlist will be seen in order of when they signed up. An email will be sent when a space becomes available. Please respond within three days to notify the therapist if you are interested in pursuing counseling or if you have found another provider. After confirming your interest, appointments must be made within three weeks of your expressed interest. Failure to respond within three days by phone or email will result in losing your place in the queue.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes, Encouraged Hearts Counseling offers a free 15 minute telehealth consultation to prospective clients via telephone or video. The purpose of the consultation is to meet the therapist, ask questions, and get to know her approach to therapy prior committing to the therapeutic relationship. Please note: Consultations are not therapy or counseling and do not establish a therapeutic relationship with the counselor.
How do I schedule an appointment?

The client portal will allow you to complete the intake paperwork electronically, view the calendar, schedule/cancel appointments, and view/print your billing information. You can also download the user friendly Simple Practice Client Portal app which has the same features as the online portal.
